**This is a contractor based role and requires the ability to work & travel within the EU.**

We are looking for a Customer Project Manager with proven experience delivering complex technical projects (preferably SaaS) at Tier 1 Telcos / Service Providers (a must!).

He/she will focus on the timely delivery of key deliverables and achieving project goals. The Customer Project Manager requires the necessary technical savviness to understand customer requirements and communicate them to the company’s R&D department and other internal stakeholders in a concise and well defined manner.

The Customer Project Manager will coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for the successful execution of projects, and manage relationships with client and all key stakeholders surrounding the project.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Manage resource availability and allocation

  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Meet with clients to develop detailed briefs and clarify requirements for each project

  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

  • Track project performance, and analyze and assess the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a successful program management track record. The ideal background includes:
  • 10+ years of PM experience

  • Proven experience working with European Tier 1 Telcos

  • Familiar with Cloud Architecture

  • Experience in a professional communications role with a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)

  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a partner on a dynamic team dealing with a start-up strategy; able to provide objective advice and recommendations with conviction

  • Proven ability to build and manage programs and projects and to be an active member of a team who can consistently deliver against demanding goals in an effective and sustainable manner

  • Experience making adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

  • Ability to develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and staff members

  • Experience developing spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • Willingness to travel – 60%
