Product Spotlight: Introducing SAM rAPId – Device ID and Enrichment API

SAM’s rAPId API empowers vendors and service providers to utilize their collected network and device data for device identification, without the complexity of building their own module.

This robust API easily handles various device and network data inputs, delivering comprehensive device details such as manufacturer, class, model, and OS. It also goes the extra mile by providing real-time updates on known CVEs affiliated with the identified device.

Save valuable time and effort by integrating SAM’s years of device fingerprinting experience directly into your own process.

Report: Growing Cybersecurity Recovery Challenges

Proofpoint’s “2023 Voice of the CISO” report reveals that CISOs face hefty cybersecurity recovery challenges, including downtime, financial loss, credential theft, and reputational damage.

However, what makes this even more alarming is that small businesses, without such dedicated cybersecurity experts, are even more at risk. They struggle to monitor their unmanaged network and everything that connects to it, apply the necessary security measures for each device, and respond to incidents when they occur.

Now, we know what you’re thinking. Small business owners are no amateurs – they understand the importance of security, just one attack could be devastating for them! But relying solely on antivirus software won’t cut it, especially considering the network security vulnerabilities introduced by those shiny IoTs.

But there’s hope! Small businesses are teaming up with ISPs to strengthen their security measures. By leveraging CPE-based protection and control, they ensure regular firmware updates and a secure infrastructure. This way, they can focus on what they do best, while staying safe from cyber threats!
